Free childcare and education for 3 to 4-year-olds

All 3 to 4-year-olds in England receive 570 hours of free early education or childcare per year.

We stretch the termly entitlement over 50 weeks of the year.

30-hours free childcare and education

Children of parents meeting certain criteria will be eligible for the extended entitlement which provides an additional 570 hours of free childcare per year.  This will be stretched over the full year in the same way as the 15 hours. Check your child’s eligibility for the 30 hours.

We offer a small number of 15 hours and 30 hours fully funded places – please contact the Nursery Manager for more information.  Please note the fully funded places offered are offered in the following way:

Please note that from we provide  3 hours of funded places between  8am – 1.00pm with the maximum claim of 15 hours per week.

For children receiving the extended 30 hours,  they will be required to complete a full week to be able to receive the full 30 hours entitlement. It is calculated as 3 hours in each morning and three hours in each afternoon. 

When you can start claiming

The date you can start claiming depends on your child’s birthday.

1st January to 31st March The beginning of term on or after 1st April
1st April to 31st August The beginning of term on or after 1st September
1st September to 31st December The beginning of term on or after 1st January

A non-refundable registration fee of £50 is required. No deposit is required.Fees are due on the first of each month, in advance.
